Due to weather concerns, the 2008 Head of the Fort has been officially canceled.

The forecast for Saturday includes 1 to 3 foot storm swells, heavy rain and flash flood warnings in the morning, plus high winds in the afternoon. All craft have been cautioned to remain in port through Saturday evening.

We had looked forward to providing everyone an early fall racing opportunity. Thanks to all those who had registered to race or volunteer. We look forward to bringing you a safe and fair Head of the Fort in 2009!
